CROWLEY
The late Annie Jagneaux, who passed away in the fall of last year, would have celebrated her 100th birthday on Sunday, July 12, and friends and family gathered to remember her in a special way.
They went to Woodlawn Mausoleum, where Annie is interred and released 100 balloons at noon.
Many knew Jagneaux as the owner/operator of the Red Barn Snow Cone stand in Crowley. She was also a member of the Crowley Rice City Senior Citizens Club and was named the Golden Age Queen in 1996.
