NAUW – Crowley Branch to honor 22 influential women

The National Association of University Women – Crowley Branch will recognize and honor 22 dedicated and extraordinary women who have affected community residents in a positive manner, personified excellence in their leadership and helped to raise the standards of living for others.
Among the honorees are counselors, administrators, community organizers, entrepreneurs, youth advocates, investigators and many other volunteers.
All Acadiana area residents are invited to join the NAUW members and the Crowley community for a magical evening of eloquence with a banquet setting on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the International Rice Festival Building in Crowley.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Awards will be presented and a delicious meal will be served.
The NAUW – Crowley Branch is comprised of women who have earned degrees from accredited colleges and universities listed by the United States Department of Education.
The organization’s mission is to serve women, youth, and the disadvantaged population by addressing educational issues, advancing the status of women and strategically partnering with other organizations to implement community projects.
