Plan November wedding ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Alleman of Duson are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Michelle Alleman, to Spencer Brooks Trahan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Trahan of Scott.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Earline Alleman and the late Curtis Alleman of Duson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Spurgen Alleman, and the great-granddaughter of Mable Broussard of Judice.

Amber is a 2010 graduate of Acadiana High School and a 2014 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degree. She is currently employed as a first grade teacher at S.J. Montgomery Elementary in Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lona Broussard and the late Paul Kermit Broussard of Scott, and Lilian Trahan and the late Patric Trahan of Carencro.

Spencer is a 2008 graduate of Acadiana High School and attained a business management degree in 2013 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is presently employed as a salesman for James Hardie Building Products.

The couple will be united as husband and wife during a seven o’clock wedding ceremony on Friday, November 21, 2014, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, followed by a reception at Keith’s Ballroom in Broussard.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Scott.
