Recycling for a cause

Third Degree Knight, Brother Greg Miller, has been collecting aluminum cans after every Bingo Night at the Knights of Columbus Hall on W. Elm St. in Crowley for the past 18 months. During this time, he gathered 250 lbs. of aluminum cans which he turned in for $125 Wednesday afternoon. Miller donated the money to The Welcome House “in the spirit of God and the Knights of Columbus.” Present for the donation were, from left, The Welcome House Director Stacey Miller, Greg Miller and Leitha Cormier.
