Seventh annual reunion held by Benoit Martin family

The Benoit Martin family gathered in Crowley for its seventh annual reunion on Saturday, April 2. The family took the opportunity to celebrate the life of Duiby Martin, who was the surviving spouse of Benoit Martin and who passed away on March 26 at the age of 91. The approximately 70 guests on hand enjoyed looking at photographs and scrapbooks, as well as spending time together playing outdoor games. Gumbo, cake and cookies were served. Out-of-town guests traveled from Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and various points throughout Louisiana. Reunion committee members were Lindell Perez, Wavey Martin, Brenda Robert, Katry Martin, Mona Binion, Marion Martin and Phil Martin. The next reunion will be held on April 22, 2017.
