Wedding plans announced

Mr. and Mrs. Eric Simmons of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Hannah Simmons, to Robert Thomas Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson of Rayne.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at First Baptist Church, Lafayette.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Edna Simmons of Longview, Texas; the late Marjorie Simmons; Beverly O’Quinn of Lafayette and the late Gary O’Quinn.
Hannah is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed by the Matthew Aaron Agency.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jasper and Matilda Johnson and the late Leo and Rita Melancon, all of Rayne.
Robert is a 2009 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley and is currently employed by Central Control, LLC.
Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
