Opening the dialogue on long term placement

There may not be a more difficult and/or awkward conversation to have with a loved one as the one that concerns nursing homes.
Often times, that conversation comes late in the game, when a loved has started changing as a person or has been admitted to a hospital and the need for long-term care has become obvious.
It’s perhaps what makes the discussion so difficult as the needs now outweigh the particular wants of the individual in question.

Shooting claims 2 lives

Crowley Police are investigating a shooting incident which has claimed the lives of two Crowley men.

Proctor named to school board

For the next six months, a Proctor will be back on the Acadia Parish School Board.
Just a different one this time.
For years, Dr. Ezora Proctor was a part of the school board. Now her husband, Rev. James Proctor will be, at least temporarily, in service in District 1.
