Lawn equipment theft from SLCC under investigation

The Crowley Police Department is investigating the felony theft of a yellow 60 inch Hustler Super Z Zero Turn mower and two Kee push mowers stolen during the early morning hours of July 24, from Southwest Louisiana Community College (SLCC), located at 1933 W. Hutchinson Ave. An abandoned trailer that was stolen that same morning from the Crowley City Barn, located on Jack Mitchell Avenue, was recovered at SLCC.

Leah McDowell has long-since been one of Martin Petitjean Elementary School’s shining examples of the great success the program has created. That’s why she has spoken at educational symposiums with 500 or 1,000 educators sitting, staring and listening to her every word.
