Loney “L.J.” Babineaux Jr.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Loney “L. J.” Babineaux Jr., 62, who passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 6:20 am at Lafayette General Hospital. Officiating the services will be Father Brady.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Marie G. Babineaux of Jennings; three daughters, Tameka Babineaux, Jodie and Darrell Leger, and Marcella and Richard Mier all of Jennings; one son, Robby and Melissa Babineaux of Jennings; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; his father, Loney Babineaux, Sr. of Jennings; one brother, Houise and Sandy Babineaux of Westlake; and two sisters, Sue Barbier of Parks and Margaret Babineaux of Fort Worth, Texas.

L. J. is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Babineaux; two sisters, Cheryl Fusilier and Lewanna Artman; and one brother-in-law Lee Fusilier.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 12 noon till time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com
