Mr. Buller, Miss Castille joined in marriage
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte provided the setting for a lovely 6:30 p.m. ceremony November 21, 2008, uniting Miss Kara Michelle Castille and Mr. Ted Michael Buller in holy matrimony with Father Joshua Guillory and Father Gene Tremie officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Clarence and Lynette Castille of Ville Platte. The groom's parents are Charles and Linda Buller of Ville Platte.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her ivory-colored gown featuring a soft sweetheart neckline. Sea beads, bugle beads and Swarovski crystals adorned the alencon lace overlay. The drop waistline flowed into an A-line skirt with a chapel-length train.
The bride carried a cluster bouquet of terra cotta roses, leonidas roses, red hypericum berries and red calla lilies accented with sala leaves. The stems of the bouquet were wrapped with double-faced satin ribbon. A pearl rosary belonging to the bride's maternal great-grandmother was entwined into the bouquet.
Kristy Castille of Ville Platte, the bride's sister, served as maid of honor for the special occasion. She wore a latte-colored, full-length satin gown and carried a nosegay bouquet, which was a smaller version of the bride's bouquet.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Lemoine, Lea Landreneau, Lauren M. Fontenot and Jamie Fontenot, all of Ville Platte, and Sadie Figueiredo of Port Barre, all friends of the bride. They were attired identically to the maid of honor.
Jeffrey Coreil of Ville Platte, served his friend as best man for the evening ceremony.
Groomsmen were Mark Buller of Ville Platte and Eric Buller of Lafayette, the groom's brothers; Bart McElwee of Lake Charles and Grant Estilette of Ville Platte, friends of the groom; and Grant Fontenot of Ville Platte, the groom's nephew.
Ushers were Brent Lafleur, Brian Guidry and Derrick Fontenot, all friends of the groom.
Colleen Fontenot, the groom's niece, served as flower girl, while Thomas Buller, the groom's nephew, was the ring bearer.
For her daughter's special day, the bride's mother selected a burgundy, full-length jacket dress accented with embroidery and rhinestone buttons.
The groom's mother chose a turquoise, full-length shantung jacket dress with bronze accents.
A reception followed at the Northside Civic Center. The hall was decorated with white and ivory-colored linens with cranberry-colored accents.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple has made their home in Ville Platte.
