Rayne High students attend State FFA Convention, collect awards

The Rayne high School FFA was well represented over the summer as Leutry Matte, Liz Cormier, Logan Richard, Naomi Istre, Brennan Pepper and Skylar Primeaux attended the 2014 Louisiana State FFA Convention in June. 

The convention was held in Monroe.

During the convention, Rayne High students accepted Rayne High’s FFA Chapter Award for the National Chapter Award. 

Rayne High was also awarded for having a “Top 25 Chapter” in the state.

While in the Monroe area, the students were treated to a stop and visit at the Duck Commander Store where the students met John Godwin, a popular cast member of the television hit show, “Duck Dynasty.”
