2014 Debutante Ball planned this weekend

Ebonites introduce Debs for weekend event

In preparation of this weekend’s 2014 Debutante Introductions and Ball, the Ebonite Civic and Social Club of Rayne, Inc., hosted its annual Debutante Tea on Sunday, April 27, at the Mural Room of the Rayne Civic Center Complex.

Serving as mistress of ceremonies for the tea was Deanna Begnaud, joined by last year’s queen, Alana Plummer.

Introduced as the 2014 Debutantes were:

Charity Paige Bias - 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Davrin Bias;

LaTavia Janee’ Cormier - 18 year old daughter of Liz Cormier and Andre Reed;

Chantel D’Nay Delco - 17 year old daughter of Chandra Delco, Leonce Duhon Jr. and he late Cleveland Hollier Sr.;

Jardin Elizabeth Forman - 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlo Forman;

Alexa Nichelle Hayes - 18 year old daughter of Germaine Perro-Stevenson and Timothy Hayes Sr.;

Alycee Loven La’Shae Harris - 16 year old daughter of Raven Babineaux and Christopher Harris;

Imari Trenee Jackson - 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Board;

Contara La’Shae’ Mayfield - 17 year old daughter of Jada Mayfield and Joseph Kelly;

Natasha Lynn Norval Roberts -  19 year old daughter of Tonya Roberts and Tommy Granger;

Quintara Shanea’ Sinegal - 17 year old daughter of Renetta Dixon and Ronald Sinegal Sr.; and

Eryn Angelle’ Washington - 17 year old daughter of Keisha Syria and Lester Washington.

This year’s Ball will be held Saturday, May 3, at the Rayne Civic Center as announced by event co-chairpersons Jackie Wiltz and Stephanie Breaux.
