Rayne High class of ‘84 holds 30-year class reunion

The Rayne HIgh School graduating class of 1984 held their 30-year class reunion at the Rayne Volunteer Fire Hall
Reunion committee members were Cyndi Abshire, Karen Thibodeaux, Anne Fontenot, Danette Arabie, Joy Schexnayder, Josette LeBlanc and Ramona Wills.
For the special gathering, the Firemen’s Hall was decorated in purple and gold accents, in addition to an 80’s theme background.
Classmates and guests were served various fingerfoods, including sandwich trays, vegetable trays, brisket, crab dip, shrimp mold, drummettes, chips and dips, and a special reunion cake.
Awarded for traveling the farthest to attend the reunion was Rob Clay of Columbus, Ohio.
Entertainment was provided by disc jockey Jay for the 42 classmates and their guests.
Classmates attended the reunion from various points of Louisiana, Texas and Ohio.
