Whitley Larry Named 2015 Rayne High Homecoming Queen

During halftime ceremonies Friday evening of September 18, during the Rayne High School homecoming football game, Whitley Larry was crowned the 2015 Rayne High Homecoming Queen.
Making the presentation was last year’s honoree, Tanner Wilson, assisted by RHS Principal Wendall Prudhomme, crown bearer Jude-Mikal Dupont, flower girl Tate Olivia Fontenot, and RHS Student Council President Evan Alleman.
Jude-Michael is the son of Paul and Paige Dupont, both RHS alumnus. Tate is the daughter of TJ and Lauren Fontenot, both RHS alumnus. Representing the RHS Student Council was president Evan Alleman.
Whitley is the 17-year-old daughter of Willie and Zona Larry of Rayne, both Rayne High alumnus. She is an honor graduate with a 4.0 grade point average, member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, other extracurricular programs, and excels as a member of the Lady Wolves’ Basketball Team. Whitley was escorted during the ceremonies by her father.
Completing the Homecoming Court of young ladies were: Clare Alleman, daughter of Blake and Kelli Alleman; Layni Katherine Boudreaux, daughter of Ricky and Madelene Boudreaux; Hailey Kimble Doucet, daughter of Mark and Stacie Doucet; Hannah Kimble Doucet, daughter of Mark and Stacie Doucet; Emily Clare Dupont, daughter of Steve and Jeanne Dupont; Morgan Michelle Menard, daughter of Michael and Rhonda Menard; Charlyne Mare’ Peltier, daughter of Wayne and Patricia Peltier; Erykah O’Shae Price, daughter of Wendell Price Sr. and Ingrid Jolivette; and Victoria Blase Richard, daughter of Sean and Holly Richard.
Graduates of classes ending in “5” were honored during a number of events and programs held during the week.
