Church Point man wanted for theft

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office issued a BOLO (be on the lookout for notice) for a man wanted for theft Wednesday.
Malcolm Brasseaux, 72, who has resided in Church Point, is accused of theft. In particular, Brasseaux, is wanted for thefts of money in excess of $435,000. He is accused of stealing money form his clients who hired him as an attorney.
Brasseaux is described as a white male with white hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds.
