Police seek bike owner; release suspect information in burglaries

Crowley police are investigating a rash of daytime residential burglaries which have occurred in the east area of Crowley.
In all, six burglaries have occurred with force being used to enter the residents.
“Suspects have either kicked in doors or entered through windows of unoccupied residents during these burglaries,” said Chief KP Gibson.
The burglaries began on May 26 with the last burglary occurring June 10.
Suspects have been described as being black males between the ages of 15 and 21, with short hair, clean-shaven faces and thin builds.
Officers did recover a bicycle which is described as a purple and white Schwinn female bicycle with a single seat.
Crowley police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of this unique bicycle or to provide any information regarding these crimes.
