Pursuit ends

A high speed pursuit went straight through downtown Crowley as officers from the Crowley Police Department, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police assisted the Jennings Police Department as it caught up with their suspects on Third Street near its intersection with Western Avenue.

According to unconfirmed reports, the chase began in Jennings following an attempted narcotics stop. The vehicle, a gray Hyundai, allegedly rammed a Jennings Police car and had its rear window shot out before coming to a stop.  The suspects are seen above handcuffed on the ground behind their vehicle.
