Miss Merry Christmas, Master Noel Royalty Named

Gamma Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the City of Rayne sponsored the 2015 Annual Little Miss Merry Christmas and Master Noel Contest on Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Mural Room of the Rayne Civic Center Complex.
The contest was open to all first and second grade students with a Rayne address.
Selected Miss Merry Christmas was Zoe Traore, six-year-old daughter of Sory and Keri-Beth Traore and first grader at Martin Petitjean Elementary.
First Runner-Up was Hollie Weber, six-year-old daughter of Karl and Rhonda Weber and first grade student at Rayne Catholic Elementary.
Second Runner-Up was Audrey Thibodeaux, six-year-old daughter of Blair and Glenn Thibodeaux and first grader at Rayne Catholic Elementary.
Contestants completing the program were Sidnee Soeseno, six-year-old daughter of Collin and Devin Soeseno and first grade student at Rayne Catholic Elementary;
Sophia Champagne, six-year-old daughter of Van and Renee Champagne and first grade student at St. Michael Elementary;
Cate Guidry, six-year-old daughter of Meghan and Charlie Bach and first grader at Martin Petitjean Elementary;
Brianna Lambert, six-year-old daughter of Brenda and Bobby Lambert and first grader at Martin Petitjean Elementary.
Crowned Master Noel was Drake Bellard, six-year-old son of Corey Bellard and Jessica Bellard.
Master Noel First Runner-Up was Jacob Paul Dupont, six-year-old son of Paul and Paige Dupont.
The new king and queen were awarded a crown, banner and trophy. First and second runners-up received trophies.
All participants are invited to participate in the 2015 City of Rayne Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 10, by riding on Santa’s float, with the new King and Queen to take their honored place with Santa Claus on his sleigh.
