2nd suspect caught
Via Nixle alert, the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office announced that the second suspect sought in an alleged aggravated assault Thursday afternoon has been caught.

In another update to KATC, the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office stated it is still looking for an alleged aggravated assault suspect in a wooded area in the 3600 block of the Eunice Iota Highway.
Maxine Trahan, APSO spokesperson, told KATC that deputies responded to a disturbance Thursday in the 5000 block of the Eunice Iota Highway. Upon arrivale, deputies located a victim that had been stabbed multiple times. Trahan also told KATC that the victim was transported to a local hospita with non-life threatening injuries.
A car chase began between the deputies and the suspects who were driving a black Chevy truck. The two suspects stopped in the 3600 block of the Eunice Iota Highway where a foot pursuit began. One of the two suspects has been caught, according to Trahan's comments to KATC, and is in police custody.
Police are still searching for the second suspect. He is described as a male wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and carrying a black bag.

According to a report by KATC, the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is pursuing suspects in an alleged stabbing of two victims.
They are being assisted by other agencies at this time and K9 officers are currently en route. The report states that the suspects allegedly fled the scene of what was classified as an aggravated assault, which occurred near the 3600 block of the Eunice Iota Highway.
