Anonymous donors provide 28 families with Christmas gifts

Twenty-eight local families will have a bright Christmas this year due to the generosity of people who wish to be anonymous, notes Suzette Leonards, who simply describes herself as “the Christmas giving coordinator,” a role she has fulfilled for the past three years.
Leonards contacts local school officials who aid her by identifying needy families.
In addition to providing toys for the youngsters in the families, the Christmas giving effort also provides basic household necessities for needy elderly residents.
On Friday, Dec. 19, Leonards was assisted by her son, Seth, and his friend, Noah Daigle, who sorted the gifts into boy/girl categories.
The Christmas gifts were delivered by Leonards, with the assistance of volunteers, on Monday, Dec. 22.
