Branch announces winners, express thanks for Family Fun Day, Cook-Off

The 2015 Branch Volunteer Fire Department Family Fun Day Benefit and Rice and Gracy Cookoff was held Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Branch Fire Station located on Hwy 35.
Entertainment, good food, live auction and family fun was enjoyed by all.
Winners of the annual Cook-Off were:
Tasters Choice: Domestic: 1st - Beer Pressure; 2nd - Reed aviation; 3rd - Elite Environment.
Authentic: 1st - Phillip DeVillier; 2nd - Cook Dat!!; 3rd - Mire Vol Fire Department.
Fire department challenge: Mire Volunteer Fire Department.
Judges’ Votes: Domestic - Roux’ Awakening; Authentic - Mire Volunteer Fire Department.
Best decorated booth: 3 Peas
Beer drinking trophy: Gone hunting.
Special thanks are expressed to everyone who assisted and attended the event in support of the Fire Department, in addition to the many donors who provided another successful event.
