CPD help nab man wanted in Lafayette

The Crowley Police Department, working in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and Louisiana State Police, arrested a Lafayette man Friday wanted in Lafayette for attempted first-degree murder.
Investigators obtained information that Lynol James Christian, 34, of Lafayette was staying at a residence in the 1100 block of West 11th Street in Crowley.
Officers gathered information and were able to take Christian into custody without incident.
He has since been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail and is pending extradition to Lafayette Parish.
A second subject, identified as Chad Meaux, 31 of Crowley was also arrested for convicted felon in possession of a firearm as part of this investigation.
