CPD issues scam warning

Via alerts, the Crowley Police Department has issued the following scam warning to its city's residents:

"Several complaints have been made regarding a white female and black male going door-to-door offering to cut down trees and/or remove debris. After payment is received, the work is left unfinished.

"They are using the business name of Daniel's Tree Care and they do not have a peddler's license from the city."
