Crowley police issue scam alert

The Crowley Police Department has issued a Nixle alert on an ongoing scam in the area.

According to the alert, calls are being placed to residents claiming electricity and/or gas will be cut off for non-payment.

The police department advises that these calls are part of a scam and that by contacting your energy or gas provider you can verify that your account is up-to-date.
