Krewe de Joie de Vie presents inaugural Mardi Gras Ball

“High On Life” was the theme on Saturday, Jan. 24, for the Krewe de Joie de Vie 2015 Margi Gras Ball held at the Ballroom in Crowley.
Senator Fred Mills served as master of ceremonies as announced by Krewe President Karen Thibodeaux and Bon Amis Tina DeRouen.
Leading the fun for the evening was Captain Paige Comeaux and Co-Captain Nikki Link, representing the perfect balance of Yin and Yang for the ball.
Reigning over the inaugural ball were his majestry, King Louis I Jack Nickel, and her majestry, Queen Anna I Michelle Koury.
Introduced against a background of fun and enjoyment were members of the royal court, including:
Crystal Frederick - Love;
Cheryl Guidry - Cloud 9;
Jerry Bergeron - Power;
Kim DeVille - Sun;
Rusti Morel - High On Life;
Entertainment was provided by the Total Showoff Dancers throughout the evening.
