Police, Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish investigating fire incident at Wal-Mart

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking the public’s assistance to solve a crime.
Crowley Police are investigating an incident which occurred at about 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Walmart, located at 729 Odd Fellows Road when the bathroom area of the store was set on fire.
Officers said the fire was extinguished quickly with no serious damage to the store and no injuries were reported.
Crowley Police are asking the public to help identify a person of interest in this matter. This person is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches in height, weighing approximately 130-160 pounds. This person has dark color hair, is clean shaven and has a thin build.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS (789-8477). All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
