Sisters of A&O present ‘Rayne In Pink’

The Sisters of A&O 21st Century Club hosted their 4th Annual “Rayne In Pink,” a breast cancer awareness march and fun day held for the entire community.
The 2015 day of events was held Saturday, Oct. 24, with events held at the Depot Square and the Rayne Civic Center Green Room.
The morning activities began at the Depot Square where a prayer and balloon release was held, followed by a 10 a.m. march ending at the Green Room of the Civic Center Complex where the Fun Day events begin at 11 a.m.
The day of fun included games, music, food and bingo for the elderly. Admission was free.
Raffle tickets were also sold for a chance to win a 26-inch Susan G. Komen bike won by Bobbie Julian, and a breast cancer wreath.
All proceeds of the day will be donated to Komen of Acadiana, and Miles Peret Center of Lafayette.
Many thanks to everyone who attended and supported with the Breast Cancer Awareness March and Fun Day in support breast cancer awareness.
Sisters of A&O committee members were Kirsten Jolivette, Danielle Reed, DeeDee Simmons, Cutina Gabriel, Sadie Wheeler, Cutrina Jolivette, Marjorie Baptiste, Nicole Anderson, Larissa Arceneaux, Rose Mouton, Annie Randall and Gwen Mouton.
