‘The Coke Man’ retires after 37 year career
After 37 years of service, Calvin Robinson, known as 'The Coke Man,” has retired from Lafaeytte Coca Cola.
During that career, Robinson has been a dedicated employee, done is job well and enjoyed being a service to the local community.
During those years, he has experienced the loss of his first wife and other family members, but he never “gave up” and continued to do his job and care for his family.
Now, due to failing health, Robinson decided he could not longer fulfill his duties as needed and, after much consideration, decided to retire.
Robinson thanked his employers, customers and his family for their support.
His vending service will continue with some supervision from him but his son will handle the bulk of serving machines and their customers.
