Nita C. Broussard

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Nita Champagne Broussard, 83, who passed away on Monday, April 14, 2008, at St. Martin Hospital.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph C. Broussard of Breaux Bridge; one son, Ted A. Broussard of Broussard; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Sheila) Tauzin of Cecilia; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Malcolm and Lester Champagne; and four sisters, Mrs. Pierre (Lilly) Douet, Mrs. Eric (Madeline) Bower, Mrs. Clarence (Bernadette) Touchet and Mrs. Russell (Nursie) Goulas.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
