Church Point police investigating thefts
CROWLEY – This week, Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a theft.
The Church Point Police Department is currently investigating a theft, which occurred on January 25, 2009. The suspect is believed to have stolen mail from various residences in the Branch / Church Point area. The suspect then went to an ATM machine located at Rayne State Bank in Church Point. The suspect was able to use the stolen ATM card to removed funds from the account of the cardholder.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his early to mid 20’s, with a muscular build and has a goatee. The suspect has a tattoo on his upper right arm. The suspect is also believed to be driving a silver four-door vehicle. This vehicle is also believed to be a newer model vehicle.
