Shadows-on-the-Teche to offer summer day camp

This summer Shadows-on-the-Teche will offer a history camp for children ages 6-11 to explore activities which children might have experienced in 1834.

The five-day camp will be held Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The week will culminate with a play performed by the campers that showcases activities they experienced throughout the week, from building a birdfeeder to creating kites.

An admission fee of $125 covers the costs for supplies for the camp. 

Registration began April 28. A limited number of participants will be accepted. Participants will continue to be accepted until all spaces are filled. Send applications with a check to confirm the young person’s registration.
