Cayden Germaine Guillory

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Bethel C.M.E. Church for Cayden Germaine Guillory, 4 months, who was called home May 15, 2014, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Rev. George R. Chretian will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Bethel C.M.E. Church in Crowley. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.

He leaves his light to shine in the hearts of his parents, Shantanna Guillory and Akeem Dugar; sister, Caylin Guillory; great-grandmother, Sandra Vallien of Houston, Texas; grandmother, Dora Dugar of Crowley; grandfather, Kevin Moore of Crowley; godparents, Carolyn and William Jones of Houston, Texas, and Kyron Benoit and Shandonté Plummer of Crowley; 11 aunts, Kierra Lyons of Everett, Washington, Stephanie Lyons and Ebony Lyons, both of Houston, Texas, Kadejah Mayfield, Natalie Dugar, Ronda Dugar, Aaliyah Dugar, Akeela Dugar, Jamilla Dugar and Chasidi Dugar, all of Crowley, and Sharitta Broussard; six uncles, Cory Lyons of Houston, Texas, Zendrea Mayfield, Ronnie Dugar, Joseph Broussard, Gilbert Price and Rico Price, all of Crowley; his extended family, Cheryl and Doris Senegal, Jeffery Jackson, Shadonda and Dana Plummer of Crowley; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Cayden was preceded in death by his grandmother Yolanda Butsie Lyons; great-great-grandmother, Birdell Lyons; great-grandmother, Dorothy Dugar; him “Mimi,” Lucinda Jackson; great-grandfather, Floyd Vallien; great-great-grandfathers, Lenell Lyons Sr. and Felix Dugar; and grandfather, Oliver Price.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Syrie Funeral Home of Lafayette.
