Eula L. Plaisance

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau, La. for Eula L. Plaisance, 73, who passed away at the home of her daughter in Morse, La. on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 8:49 a.m.

Fr. Clint Trahan, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse will be officiating for the services.  Burial will be in the Istre Cemetery in Mermentau Cove.

The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.  A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, at 7:00 in the evening.  Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. until time of the services at 9:00 a.m. in Mermentau.

Survivors include one son, Donald Paul and wife, Lisa Richard of Mermentau Cove, La.; three daughters, Theresa and husband, Roland Breaux, of Rayne, La., Dorothy and husband, Watson Richard of Rayne and Anna Marie and husband, Brian Migues of Morse; four sisters, Viola LeBlanc of Jennings, La., Anna Crochet of Hathaway, La., Earline Menard of Vidor TX and Betty LeJeune of Carencro, La.; two brothers, Wilton LeBlanc and Prevot Lee LeBlanc both of Mermentau Cove, La.; twelve grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.

Ms. Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Plaisance; one son, James Richard; two grandsons, Kyle David Richard and Trent Paul Israel; two sisters, Joyce Myers and L.D. Marie Trahan; two brothers, Dallas and Wilson LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Koby Richard, Richie Richard, Raylin Richard, Rocky Israel, Mark Israel, Johnathan Migues, Kevin Migues, John Dominque, Malcolm Dupuis, Donald Paul Richard, Watson Richard, Roland Breaux and Brian Migues.
