Debra Ann Garrie

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 1, at 2 p.m. for Debra Ann Garrie, 52, who died Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 2:20 p.m. in Crowley.

Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requested visiting hours Monday from 2 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. A rosary was recited Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery.

Survivors include her companion of 24 years, Kay LeBlanc of Crowley; one sister, Linda Garrie of Crowley; three brothers, Robert Garrie of Birmingham, Alabama, and Warren Garrie and Darrell Garrie, both of Crowley; three aunts, Hazel Bourque of Crowley, Peggy Pryor and her husband, J. W. of Crowley and Eunice LeBlanc of Lafayette; two uncles, Nelson Broussard and his wife Joyce of Crowley and Donald Garrie of Crowley; and godchildren, Kayla Meche and Jaxson Castillo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Annie Broussard Garrie.

Pallbearers will be Warren Garrie, Darrell Garrie, Christian LeBlanc, Craig Stevens, Andy Sant and Nicholas LeBlanc.
