Rayne Catholic cheerleaders claim summer camp awards

Members of the Rayne Catholic Elementary cheerleading squad attended the 2014 SCA Camp last week at UL-Lafayette

Cheerleaders in attendance were Peyton Seilhan, Gracie Menard (mascot), Sydney Menard, Mary Katherine Lavergne, Carmen Venable, Payton Broussard, Riley Gautreaux (co-captain), Morley Richard, Sydnei Simon, Caroline Comeaux (captain), Meaghan Austin, Maggie Hazlett, along with coaches Jeanne Marie Maraist and Mary Gayle Hensgens.

They received a blue ribbon (superior) for their Home Pom routine performance, a red ribbon (excellent), another blue ribbon (superior) for their performance Sunday afternoon, in addition to an overall Safety First Award and a trophy for Award of Excellence Runner-Up.
