Lyle John LeJeune
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Lyle John LeJeune, 56, who died Aug. 23, 2014, at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette.
Fr. Randy Moreau, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau, will be officiating for the services. The family requested visiting hours be held Monday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Iota.
He is survived by two sisters, Anita L. Dupre and husband Fee of Ritchie and Marlene L. Gotte and husband Bobbie of Iota; three brothers, David N. LeJeune and wife Melinda of Iota, Thomas C. LeJeune and wife Sheryl of Richard, and Ed L. LeJeune and wife Kathy of Iota; his sister-in-law, Patricia H. LeJeune of Iota; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and his companion, Catherine Cormier of Lafayette.
Mr. LeJeune is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Willa Hebert LeJeune; one brother, Curry K. LeJeune; and two nephews, Jason P. LeJeune and Darren K. LeJeune.
