Donald James Meyer

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Donald James Meyer, 48, who died Saturday, Nov. 15, in Encore Nursing Home in Crowley.

Surviving are two daughters, Leslie Louise Bosch and Sarah Anne Meyer both of El Cajon, California; companion, Mary “Angel” Olivier of Crowley; father, Ben Anthony Meyer Sr. of Rayne; five sisters, Susan Meyer Dollison and husband Steve, Phyllis Meyer Hebert and husband Wilson “Jean” Jr., Dora Meyer, Cynthia Meyer Vondenstein and husband Charles “Chuck,” and Billie Meyer, all of Rayne; one brother, Ben “Bubba” Anthony Meyer Jr. of Rayne.

He was preceded in death by mother, Virginia Rita Falcon Meyer; one brother, Daniel Joseph Meyer; maternal grandparents, Frank and Dora Falcon; and paternal grandparents, Henry Joseph Sr. and Elna Lafleur Meyer.
