Kylie Elizabeth Pannell

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, for Kylie Elizabeth Pannell, 22, who died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2014, in Lafayette. 

Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Kylie was born Oct. 6, 1992, in Lafayette. She was a lifelong member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. She was a 2011 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She loved sports and competing. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.

Kylie is survived by her parents Richard H. and Patricia Guidry Pannell of Waynesville, North Carolina; one brother, Kyrick Pannell of Church Point, maternal grandmother, Betty Hanks Guidry of Crowley; and her paternal grandparents, Steven and Mary Pannell of Little Cypress, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Alfred Irving Guidry. 

Pallbearers will be, Kyrick Pannell, Waylon Young, Brance Floyd, Westin Floyd, Austin Berlin, Garret Berlin and Chris Daniels.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mamie Cook, Paisley Sabian, Samantha Meyer, Paige Bearb, Kaitlyn Guinn and Chelsea Meaux.
