Police investigating shooting

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the city Saturday evening. The shooting, which occurred in the 900 block of Jacobs Avenue, saw the victim shot in the shoulder and sustained a not life-threatening injury. Police are interviewing people who may have witnessed and believe the motive may have been a drug deal that went bad. There is no suspect to be named at this time, but are working leads.
