Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Calvin Lee Dupont, 35, who passed away at his home in Houma on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at 3:31 p.m.
Pastor Berl Adams of the First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan.
At the famiily’s request, visitation was held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation resumes at 8 a.m. until time of services on Thursday, all in the funeral home chapel.
Survivors include his daughter, Kylee Schexnider of Houma; his father, Mark Dupont of Crowley; one brother, Brent and wife Natalie Dupont of Houma; one sister, Shirley Dupont of Houma; several nieces and nephews.
Calvin was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Dupont; his paternal grandparents, Calvin Dupont and Lane LeJeune; his maternal grandparents, Murphy and Shirley Roy.
