Father Sam Fontana will serve as celebrant. Readings will be delivered by Mrs. Moreau's son-in-law, Gerard Olinger. Serving as giftbearers are Mrs. Moreau's granddaughters, Paige Veronie, Sherrie David, Christine Melancon, Jan Moreau, and Annie Moreau.
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.
Friends will be received Sunday, February 1, 2015, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a rosary being recited at 3:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 2, 2015, 8:00 am until 12:30 pm at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
A native of Vermilion Parish, Mrs. Moreau had lived in Rayne since 1939. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Moreau worked at Associated Distributing Company, where she retired after 35 years of service.
Survivors include her son, Robley Moreau and wife, Linda of Rayne; daughters, Janell M. Estilette and husband, Earl of Lafayette, and Deborah M. Olinger and husband, Gerard of Roberts Cove; sister, Norma H. Guidry and husband, Horace of Lafayette; brother-in-law, Ralph Veazey of Lafayette; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Moreau in death were her husband, Lloyd Joseph Moreau; parents, Adam and Annie Domingue Hargrave; sister, Marjorie H. Veazey; and brother, J.C. Hargrave.
Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Veronie, Todd David, Matthew Olinger, Paul Olinger, Michael Melancon, Chris Moore, and Mark Olinger. Named as honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Moreau's great-grandchildren.
