Update: Bomb threats made Tuesday to Rayne Pharmacy, Walmart

Rayne Police are continuing their investigation into a bomb threat made at Mouton Pharmacy on Tuesday. Rayne Police responded at 11:27 a.m. and evacuated the area and searched for explosives with the assistance of an explosive detection dog from the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Department. No device was found and officers released the scene at 12:02 p.m.
Earlier Tuesday, two bomb threats were called into Walmart in Crowley.
Both Mouton Pharmacy and Walmart were cleared.
Police said the threats in Crowley and Rayne are similar, and both Rayne Police and Crowley Police are working together to determine whether the suspect is the same for all three bomb threats.
