Lewis celebrates 25 years

The Israelite Baptist Church in Crowley celebrated the 25th anniversary of its pastor, Ivan James Lewis, left, on Sunday, Feb. 8, during a 3 p.m. service held at the church. The church also paid tribute to its first lady, Cheryl Lewis, right. Rev. Ernest Williams of New Beginnings Primitive Baptist Church in Kaplan preached the appreciation sermon.
