Leo Paul “L.P.” Faul

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton for Leo Paul “L.P.” Faul, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 6:35 p.m. at the Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home in Carencro.
Very Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington, Pastor of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church Cemetery in Cankton.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, at 7 in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. Visitation will resume on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Velma and husband, Bret Begnaud of Carencro and Geraldine and husband, Robert Credeur, Sr. of Mire; two sons, Tommy and wife, Tina Faul of Scott and Kenneth and wife, JoLynn Faul of Vatican; three sisters, Verlie Forestier of Carencro, Leola Menard of Church Point and Thelma Laviolette of Pearland, TX; four brothers, V.H. Faul of Carencro, LeRay Fall of Rayne, Elson Faul of Ossun and James Faul of Carencro; fourteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and God Children.
Pallbearers for the services will be Tommy, Kenneth, Keith, Jeremy, Billy and Tyler Faul. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Russell Faul, Jr., Robert Credeur, Jr., Bret Begnaud ,Tim Faul and Rodney “Ne Ne” Smith.
Mr. Leo Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa S. Faul; three sons, Russell Faul, Sr., Gerald Faul and Richard Faul; one great-grand daughter, Chloe Breaux; his parents, Louis and Mable M. Faul; one step brother, William Burleigh; two sisters, Mildred Faul and Eva Ethel Meche.
