Buford J. Breaux Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at 4:30 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Buford J. Breaux Sr., 85, who passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 11:43 p.m. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.

Deacon Michael Trammel will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.

The family requested that visitation begin on Monday, April 6, at 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 o’clock in the evening on Monday in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 7, at 8 a.m. until time of services.

Survivors include five sons, Michael Wayne and wife Diana Breaux of Virginia Beach, Virginia.; Buford and wife Hilda Breaux Jr. of Crowley, Daniel and wife,Yvonne Breaux of Church Point, Curtis Breaux of Crowley and William Lee and wife Alice Breaux of Crowley; five daughters, Barbara Cooper of Crowley, Sandra Gail Morgan of Crowley, Cheryl and husband Larry Broussard of Church Point, Deanna Hebert of Crowley and Sarah and husband Archie Meche of Church Point; three brothers, Leeford Breaux of Sulphur, Robert, and wife Lou Breaux of Crowley and Stoute “T Stoute” LeBlanc of Morse; one sister, Rusty Mae Breaux of Crowley; 49 grandchildren, 96 great-grandchildren and 30 great great-grandchildren.

Mr. Breaux was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Breaux; two sons, Donald Breaux and Terrance Breaux; two grandsons, Allen Breaux and Jeffery Mouton; one grand-daughter, Amber Hebert; several great-grandchildren; his parents, Clarence and Evela Breaux.
