Crowley residents recognized at NAUW banquet

The Lafayette Branch of the National Association of University Women recently hosted its annual “Tribute to Excellence Banquet” at which two Crowley residents were recognized. Dr. Ezora Proctor was honored as an outstanding government leader, and Denise Guillory was honored as an outstanding entrepreneur. The Sunday, April 19, banquet was held at the Ramada Inn in Lafayette on Sunday, April 19, and featured musical selections by local artist Russell Dorion.On hand for the banquet were, from left, Betty Gums, Meridian Vallery, Proctor, Guillory, Cynthia Winbush and Myrtle Cain.
