Little Miss NAUW/Little Master NAUW plans finalized

The Crowley Branch of the National Association of University Women held its regular meeting for the month of April at the Martin Luther King Center in Crowley. After the minutes of the previous meeting were read, the members discussed celebration of their local Founder’s Day, the large turnout at the parent/contestant reception for the upcoming Little Miss NAUW/Little Master NAUW pageant and finalization of the details for the pageant. Registration forms for the 56th South Central Section Conference were distributed, the branch scholarship was voted on and plans for the 2016 banquet and planning committee members were announced. On hand for the meeting were, seated from left, Hilda Jones, Cynthia Winbush, Dr. Ezora Proctor, Evelyn Pleasure, Shelda Kelso; standing, Martha Williams, Grace Brown, Meridian Vallery, Myrtle Cain, Cheryl Lewis, Jocelyn Potier and Betty Gums. Also present but not pictured were Pamela Thorns and Dr. Michelle Calloway.
