St. Joseph High class of ‘65 celebrates 50-year reunion

Members of the 1965 graduating class of St. Joseph High School gathered on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Chef Roy’s Frog City Café for their 50-year class reunion.
The reunion followed the attendance of classmates to the 4 p.m. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church where they were recognized.
Attending the reunion were Ronald Sonnier and wife Dianne, Barbara Champagne Shrader and as her guest her sister Michelle Hensgen, Linda Neu Cormier, Sheryl Breaux Daniels and her husband Stephen, Richard Doucet and wife Helen, Julia Faul Quebodeaux and her husband Jimmy, Phyllis Fall Beisecker and husband Mark, Charles Habetz and wife Pattie, Pam Lagneaux Bouillion and husband Jeff, Nora Montgomery Doguet and husband Andre, Johnny Richard and wife Pat, Judie Richard Alleman and husband Russell, Geraldine Richard Riley, Stephen Theunissen and wife Donna, Glenn Thibodeaux and wife Cathy, Norris Thibodeaux and wife Patsy, John Dale Trahan and wife Janet Vondenstien Trahan (also a classmate).
Special guests were former classmates Barbara Albarado Marshall and husband Jerry, James Mouton and wife Judy, and Gregory Faulk and wife Suyapa.
Remembered were the four deceased classmates, Dianne Leger, Ted Boudreaux, Tommy Cart and Sharon Breaux Broussard.
The class of 65 was also recognized during the Rayne Catholic 8th grade promotion Mass on Thursday, May 21.
