Love of Christ Baptist Church celebrates first anniversary

The Love of Christ Baptist Church of Crowley proudly celebrated its first church anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 16.
A large crowd was on hand for the 3 p.m. event, which was held at the International Rice Festival Building in Crowley. The theme for the afternoon was “Building Disciples for God’s Kingdom,” Zechariah 4:10.
Rev. Freddie Jack, pastor of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church and Saint John Baptist church delivered the celebration message.
Additionally, Mayor Greg Jones was present to read a special proclamation in honor of the church.
The Love of Christ Baptist church is pastored by Rev. Corwin Morgan.
