Local Delta Kappa Gamma chapter holds first meeting of new school year

Members of the Xi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International gathered on Tuesday, Sept. 8, for their first meeting of the year. Chapter member Sandra Pruitt, seated center, presented a short program entitled “Indicators of a Healthy Chapter. The chapter recognized, Elaine Simon, seated left, 50-year member, and Joanna Pruitt, seated right, 65-year member, both of whom will be honored for years of service at the Epsilon State Convention in March of 2016. The chapter also recognized, standing from left, Casey Vercher, Rose-in-Bloom member with over five years membership, and Page Gray, Rosebud member with under five years membership. Vercher and Gray will compete for titles at the Southwest District meeting on Sept. 26.
